No SLI support? (DX10 is not required to get SLI support, just ask nVidia) 2. No true CPU specific threaded support? I realize this is only a demo -- but it still could use a little more polish. If there is no SLI support til DX10 (which is Vista only) then I will probably wait on purchase.

PC PSU's and SLI support
Not to be too pedantic, but isn't only a software deficiency that prevents Mac SLI support? I thought MCI had said that SLI support might be coming in the future versions of the drivers. Their website does indeed claim that the hardware can do SLI, it's merely the drivers that are deficient.

Well, it's a bit outdated, besides the xw9300 (which is already obsolete) it's successor xw9400 does support SLI, too. But SLI is only supported with Nvidia chipsets, and since there are no Nvidia workstation chipsets (nForce Professional) for XEON but only for Opteron there is no XEON workstation with SLI support.

... and revisions did not materialize, esp the delayed rave support and the nonexisted SLI support I think 99% of the mac gaming community would have support MC had they lived up to their commitments and provided a good product at a fair price. Unfortunately for them AND for the mac gaming community they couldn't.

My major complaint is that I can't go 1024 resolution. Does SLI support the higher resolution? Oh, and is my 2D card starting to get a bit long in the tooth, or can I hold off, since most high powered games will be 3D accelerated any how (are there any current 2D games, other than DF, which "push the envelope"?)?
