One thing I noticed is that the nVidia drivers don't include SLI support in Vista. Is that because Vista doesn't have the ability or because they simply haven't put it in the drivers yet?

SLI Support
Get with program, this is beta software ... beta means it is under development. In other words, you have not paid money for it yet.

This is a problem with the nVidia drivers. Making video cards work with Windows Vista is the video card manufacturer's responsibility.
Hopefully they will get this figured out before or when Vista RC1 is released.

Yeah. I figured I'd ask to see if anyone had found a better driver than the one I dug up. Some people just don't seem to get that there's a reason to ask questions I guess. Especially since I've probably been doing the beta thing since before they were born.
I was surprised when nVidia got it together to release "official" x64 drivers for XP Pro 2005. I couldn't imagine that MS would make SLI unavailable, as it's starting to be standard in most gaming systems now anyways. If anyone does hear about any SLI support, let us know so we can go grab it and test that also.
I'll be doing a comment on my radio show about the beta2 last week of july after I get it down enough to play with for any length of time. We also have a new system contract to deal with this week, so that loses me 7 days.
I've gotten out of the MS newsgroup loop because there have gotten to be too many kids who simply want to bash things to make it usefull. I'll stick around here just to get people's real opinions before I do the comment on the show.
